Hopefully hopeful, The Rest of Our Lives is a cabaret of life and near death. Join Jo and George for a night of dance, circus and games.
The struggle is real.
Jo is an old dancer, George an old clown. They are international artists with 100 years of life experience between them. They’ve reached the mid-way point, and now they’re looking at the rest of their lives and wondering, what next? Armed with a soundtrack of floor-fillers, a book of raffle tickets and a sprinkling of eco-friendly glitter. Join them as they negotiate middle-life together with humour, tenderness and outlandish optimism.

The Rest of Our Lives is a two-hander designed for village halls, dance halls and studio theatres. The performance is spirited and the show touches on themes around aging well, friendship and care.
We’re interested in community building that happens in new ways and with a focus on diversifying audiences.The Rest of Our Lives has previously been performed at Ageless Festival, Yorkshire Dance; Machynlleth Comedy Festival; The Place Theatre, London; Ty Dawns/Dance House, Cardiff; Chapter Arts Centre. In autumn 2021 we toured seven village halls in England as part of the Rural Touring Dance Initiative.

BSL Integrated Interpretation
Since 2022, we have been working with BSL interpreter Katie Fenwick. Katie is an expert in BSL for music gigs and theatre, she has joined us for many performances, she will be joining us once again for our run at Battersea Arts Centre in London, June 2024.

International Touring
In 2023, we took the show to Viet Nam with live interpretation by Tham Tran. We were delighted with how the English/Vietnamese version went, please get in touch if you are a venue wishing to present The Rest Of Our Lives outside of the UK.
